Beside a pool, a river, or as a feature in the yard,
the possibilities for these saunas is almost endless.
Lapland Saunas Pty Ltd manufacture their saunas on the Gold Coast, then deliver to
almost anywhere in Australia. The given designs can be varied in a
number of ways giving a sauna just right for the situation.
The saunas are delivered in one piece when possible and either wheeled into place or lifted by crane. For situations that don't allow access for the complete sauna, the sauna would be delivered in sections and built on site.
Arakaria, an Australian native, is non-toxic and has been grown as a plantation timber for over a hundred years. The solid timber walls are self-insulating allowing the sauna to breathe naturally.
Spruce from Northern Finland, is used on the ceiling, door and benches. Over 90% of saunas in Europe use Spruce. Besides giving a light and airy blonde look, Spruce has been shown to have anti-bacterial properties when heated.

Laminated glass is used on the door giving minimal heat loss.
The sauna doesn't require a concrete slab as the floor is built in with a single piece
vinyl covering.
All prices given include the heater, rocks, safety rail, water bucket, water scoop and thermometer.
The cost of electrical work to connect to power or plumbing work (if required) is not included in the price.
Delivery is included upto 200km from the Gold Coast.

Delivery information
Delivery to locations within 200km of Gold Coast is included. An amount of
$25 per 100km is charged for locations outside this area. See below for sample
charges.

If it is not possible to wheel the sauna into place then a crane may be used to lift the sauna into position or the sauna would be delivered as components and assembled on site. Both of these options carry a charge.

ie 1400km from Gold Coast (subtract first 200km)
1200km x 0.25 = $300

For positions with insufficient access a crane may be used or the sauna is delivered in kit form and assembled on site.
If delivered in kit form on site assembly can cost from $250 - $1,000 depending on the sauna model. On site assembly of saunas usually does not exceed 10% of the sauna price & can be used as a rough guide.
